Cannon Post Card

Copy: There are three bronze cannons facing west on the Hudson, situated at 89th Street Riverside Drive. Each are inscribed with their weight (8,508 pounds), the maker's initials (S.C.L. S. McM. & CO) and the date (1865). Brave souls have attempted ollies, grinds and slides, but have yet to see a flip trick over one. The monument is home to several historic obstacles and are illuminated at night by lanterns. Skate it if you can and be apart of the Upper West Side Curb Club.
